Artisanal Methods of Food Preservation

Sunday, July 27, 2008
10am-4pm

Learn the secrets behind the ADAMAH Dills that our guests have been raving about!

During this new one-day workshop we’ll show you how to transform fresh produce into delicious and nutritious foods that nourish us through the winter months. Taste a variety of preserved gourmet foods, harvest fresh produce on our four-acre organic farm and learn about a variety of food preservation methods, including canning, drying, freezing and pickling.

The workshop will focus on lacto-fermentation, the traditional method for making dill pickles, sauerkraut and kim chi. Lunch and take-home treats are included.

Only $95 per person.
