Program Director

The Isabella Freedman Jewish Retreat Center seeks a Program Director to develop and direct spiritually vibrant retreat experiences for Jewish people of all ages and denominations. Portfolio includes Renewal-based retreats, training institutes, holiday programs, a traditional Passover retreat for senior adults, Elderhostels, environmental retreats and other retreat programs. This individual works collaboratively with a second Program Director. Together, they co-direct the Elat Chayyim Center for Jewish Spirituality and share overall responsibilities for all other retreat programs at Isabella Freedman. Each Program Director is responsible for half the retreats, allowing a reasonable pace for preparation and management of each retreat.
Candidates must have proven administrative, communication and leadership skills, strong Judaic knowledge and experience working with diverse Jewish populations. Candidates should have experience with project management, be customer focused, detail oriented and computer proficient, and able to work well as part of a team. Candidates must share a commitment to the mission and vision of Isabella Freedman and the ECCJS, and should be enthusiastic about being part of and helping to shape a conscious community of intentional, vibrant and inclusive Jewish spirituality. Previous experience teaching or facilitating at Elat Chayyim in Accord, NY or as part of the ECCJS at Isabella Freedman is a plus.

Reservationist
Isabella Freedman is seeking a full-time reservationist for retreat center that offers a wide variety of programs. Primary responsibilities include answering questions via telephone and email and entering registrations into our computer system. Required qualifications include touch typing, computer literacy including familiarity with MS Word and Excel, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills.
