Celebrate and support local, seasonal and sustainable agriculture with a glatt-kosher gourmet brunch, tour of our organic farm and activities for the whole family.
This year, we have decided to combine our annual gala with our farm-to-table Feast in the Field Brunch. The result, from Friday, August 13 to Sunday, August 15, 2010 will be an extraordinary weekend of rest and relaxation at Isabella Freedman, culminating with the Third Annual Feast in the Field Brunch. There is nothing quite like brunch in the Sadeh Field, surrounded by organically grown delectable vegetables, ripening in the sun, awaiting harvesting by our Adamahniks!
SWIMMING, BOATING, FISHING, HIKING, YOGA, MASSAGE, NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING and up to 5 fabulous, delicious meals prepared with locally-grown products. What a way to combat the dog days of summer!
CAN’T COME FOR THE ENTIRE WEEKEND? Rates will be adjusted for one night, two nights or Sunday brunch only!
WHY COMBINE THE TWO EVENTS? It’s a win-win! By combining the two, we can make this weekend more than a typical “special event.” It will be a spectacular experience, filled with activities and services that will long be remembered—all while realizing a dramatic decrease in overhead costs. Plus, there’s the added incentive of getting out of the city (any city!) and into the country. The birds are calling your name —all 40 species that inhabit our 300 acres of mountaintop woods.
HOW WILL THE DONATION STRUCTURE CHANGE? Since we are hosting only one major fundraiser this year, we are asking you to combine what you contributed to both the gala and Feast in the Field in years past—plus a little more for good measure. Sponsorship Opportunities are listed below.
WHO WILL BENEFIT? Everyone will. You will experience a fabulous summer weekend in the CT Berkshires for an amazing cause. You will also have one less summer party to attend! Our Adamahniks, senior campers, greening fellows and scholarship recipients will all benefit because the substantive reduction in expense means more money will go right back into our cutting edge programs.
